For a residential garden in everyday use, the 30 to 40 mm range with a density from 18,000 stitches/m² and a colour guarantee of 10 years or more covers most cases well. If the garden is the main view from the house and gets little foot traffic, going up to 45 mm improves the look; if there are children, pets and an outdoor dining table, staying at 30-35 mm gives a better result after three years.
